About Me

Me (left) reading to my little sister (right)
I graduated from Brandeis University in 2009 with a BA in Theater and continued to act in Professional, Fringe, and Community Theater off-and-on for about a decade, before COVID brought my acting career to a sudden halt. I missed performing terribly and it was only then that I conceived of a new performance outlet. I have had a passion for
reading all my life and couldn't believe it had taken me so long to consider combining two of the things I love most - acting and books!

When I was growing up, my mother, who is visually impaired, had piles and piles of audiobook cassettes she would order through the Perkins School for the Blind. As a result, from an early age I recognized the importance of a good narrator - one who could get inside the heads of the characters and authentically convey their thoughts and emotions. My acting background has been instrumental in allowing me to hone those skills. In particular, I have a knack for younger voices; I was even cast to play an 8-year-old Scout in a staged production of To Kill a Mockingbird when I was 24! Whether you write fiction or nonfiction, adult, young adult or children's literature, I can make your words leap off of the page and bring your characters to life.
